I believe the taper is made of Bakelite or Casein and shows some light scratches and pin-sized marks

Clip looks like it might have a slight tilt 1-2mm to the right at the bottom (possibly from installation) and I don’t want to risk breakage of the stem underneath by trying to correct it

In spite of this (or perhaps because of it)

Manufacturer imprint on the barrel is factory deep and fully legible
