For better or worse, it seems that the Final Fantasy MTG set isnt being too bold with its many mechanics

If you use the Wild Research to fetch up the best instant/enchantment in your deck, and then drop it to your library, you can+1 and reveal and draw it and use it immediately
You can also get a look at the new Set Champ card Maleficent (Monstrous Dragon), which looks incredible
With delve, you can cut the cost of Treasure Cruise down to just one blue mana, though you need a fair number of cards in the graveyard to do so
Final Fantasy VII being one of the more referenced games in media made it a strong first contender
