Most decks are just not equipped to deal with a well-timed Lost City or just fold to a quick Wailord with a backup attacker.
It has a very fast, very narrow gameplan: if you can get your Charizard ex in play, you will have the energy to attack with it, and it will hit like a truck, so you best make that happen as fast as you can
There's one potential infinite combo in there with Godo, Bandit Warlord and Helm of the Host, and about four removal cards for dealing with threats from creatures, enchantments or artifacts
