Large 19th Century Brass Bank Scales by Doyle & Son, London, With Avery Weights. Lighting II) - 1851A large and very impressive set of late 19th century brass bank scales by Doyle & Son, London. The scales come with a set of later Avery weights (1 4 oz 1 lb). The scales are in very good original condition with a wonderful patina. There is some rubbing to the original rear wire near the top (please see photographs) but the wire remains extremely strong. A truly striking piece. Dimensions Height: 54. 5cm Width: 42cm Depth: 28cm
