For only two mana we get either a land drop or a small creature (I'm looking at you Esper SentinelEsper Sentinel), both of which are pretty good effects in the early game
This corresponds to an 85.0% probability (on the play) or 89.8% probability (on the draw) of having two lands by turn two
Some huge bombs that we're planning to cast for free with Jeleva include Volcanic Vision to recur and one-sided board wipe, Breach the Multiverse to steal a bunch of creatures, Mnemonic Deluge to cast the best spell three more times, and of course some extra turns like Karn's Temporal Sundering
Archmages Charm None of [c]Archmages Charm[/c]s abilities are super powerful on their own, but the ability to choose between any one of them gives it such versatility that youll almost always be happy to have it in your hand
But in a deck that wants an opponent to draw cards, this is all gravy
One mana for two +1/+1 counters is a great deal and helps you stay ahead of the mana curve on power and toughness
