Books tears to the leather whichI'm still learning about antique rugs, so, at the moment, I just tend to buy what I like the look of, especially if they have that country house look about them. What I know, so far, is that this rug probably would have been a large prayer rug or a door hanging in a yurt. The directional design is a typical hatchi design. The central area is divided into four by a cross, and each segment is decorated with the same double armed candlestick design.
