The Maui ink cost was high, but if I waited another turn or two, I would have a legitimate tank in play that would be hard to take down even with repeated attacks by the combination of attack power of the other opponent characters on the table
I cant see a Pull from Eternity build with this Eldrazi, but you can then feed this card to Ugin's Labyrinth and that all seems wack
If you like those cards, you can pay four life a piece to keep them, or you can put two of the three cards youve drawn this turn back on your deck
Granting yourself protection from everything is a huge reason to play the card, especially if you can bounce and recur it multiple times, but the ability to draw cards (even if the life loss mounts each time you do) pushes The One Ring up to one of the best Artifacts printed in Magic's history
Rikku, Resourceful Guardian allows you to force a creature through your opponents' blockers, as well as steal counters, and Lulu, Stern Guardian protects you by putting stun counters on your opponents creatures, as well as proliferating to keep them around
