If your favorites not represented here and you have a strong case for why it should be here, Id love to hear from you
This deck is built around the new disguise mechanic, which has you paying three mana to place a creature face down on the battlefield as a 2/2 creature with ward 2
Starn has a static ability that reads "Whenever another source you control deals exactly 1 damage to a permanent or player, Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph deals 2 damage to that permanent or player"
There are beautifully dark cards such Toxrill, the Corrosive (Showcase) or Olivia, Crimson Bride (Showcase) that make this set wonderful no matter what you pull
Faeburrow Elder not only taps for 1 mana of each color among permanents you control, but it also grows larger with every color represented, so its both a ramp engine and a solid body
Still, it counts for this list because it has renew sprinkled on it, but trust me, you'll be much happier recurring it from the graveyard rather than exiling it for some mere counters
