Only allowing a foes creature one attack to deal damage to you is eminently useful, especially in a game of Commander where the attacks will usually be coming in fast and furious
Its trivially easy to get four oil counters on it, what with Treasures and all, so were going to enjoy lots of activations
Casting Ral, shooting something dead, and then having Ral die to removal or burn was not bad, it set them back and gave me both card equilibrium and tempo
they can provide six of the seven devotion I need all on their own
If I am running Zealot in that situation, I can block the Bloodtithe Harvester, removing a chunk of the pressure on my life total, giving me room to eventually take over the game with my higher value cards
