These cards are extremely similar to held items in the main videogame, with many Tool cards having in-game counterparts like Choice Band and Float Stone
Its nice that this card is strong in 1v1 as a damage dealer, and in EDH, the discard and draw effect scales according to the number of players to compensate for the fact that a 5/5 with flying and haste is just alright in the format
Pricing as if the whole sale price is yours is how thin-margin cards turn into losses
Scalpers and scammers arent necessarily misrepresenting the popularity or value of the Pokmon TCG market, but much like the online celebrities throwing unheard of amounts of money at these cards, they are contributing to a raised barrier of entry for more casual collectors who must navigate low inventories, high prices, and delayed productions just to get their hands on a few packs
This was hint one that Vehicles are closer to creatures than artifacts, but I missed it as a downside
