Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Heavily Peated 2012 1000ml and finally ends somewhere aroundA 2012 vintage Port Charlotte Islay Barley heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich, made using barley from eight farms on Islay. Aromas of lemon, apple sauce, pears, summer flowers, chocolate covered coconut, burnt heather, muddy peat and vanilla fill the nose. The palate offers notes of milk chocolate, black pepper, freshly baked scones, honey, earthy smoke, apricot, cream and warm, sandy beaches that linger in the finish.
