The quality of the enamel work & design of this gilt bronze tray Is most likely from the workshop of Ferdinand Barbedienne. Dates to the 2nd half of the 19th century. This dish has a wonderful 6 lobe design with a lovely orientalist style floral pattern consisting of a black backdrop, deep shades of burgundy, subtle green & white accents. 5 enamel colors in all.
