The Rule of Four also applies to cards featuring Pokmon, though the rules about a Pokmons name are a little bit more complicated
In the absence of cards like [casthaven]Stifle[/casthaven], [casthaven]Wasteland[/casthaven], [casthaven]Force of Will[/casthaven], and dedicated hosers, I have no idea how Modern decks can fight them, other than by playing a version of Eldrazi designed to break the mirror (or perhaps [casthaven]Painters Servant[/casthaven] is a stronger hoser than it appears)
The only card we have really competing with it is Invasion of Ikoria and since flipping battles isn't typically worth it, Nature's Rhythm feels like a major upgrade thanks to harmonize
With the impending addition of trading, there is already one new feature in development that will ease the difficulties of collecting certain cards
While they dont have the same sole-release impact Ive grown accustomed to in the last few years, there is a lot to discover about the slew of new cards weve been delivered
