There isnt much that sets TDC apart from previous precon line-ups outside of the fact that there are five decks here

Decks that are heavy on artifacts and enchantments will sometimes bring in Magus out of the sideboard as the opponent brings in artifact and enchantment hate and trims creature removal

Now youre the only player casting more than one spell per turn, pulling ahead in advantage bit by bit each turn while everyone else struggles to at least cast a mana rock in addition to their other spell

It may get outshined a bit by some other one-drops in Modern nowadays, but its still the real deal
