The Commander Decks have revealed a ton of new cards in a similar vein that have great mechanical nods to their respective gamessome of my favorites include Zack Fair in FFVII s, which lets you essentially replicate Cloud swiping Zacks identity after his death, or Champions from Beyond in FFXIV s, a very nifty nod to the MMORPGs party finder mechanic (and one of the coolest moments in its expansion Shadowbringers )
Each starter deck comes with a deck of 60 cards that includes two foil cards, 11 damage counters, 1 paper playmat, 1 paper Lore tracker token, game rules, and a booster pack with 12 cards
As in, many of the uncommons are of the caliber of the rares of many other sets
With Betas print run being even more limited than Alphas, high-grade copies of this iconic land are rare finds
