An extraordinary silk hand embroidered bedcover dating from the 1920s, embroidered in Kashmir in India where the worlds most skilled embroiderers come from. This was probably made for the European market, either for export of for Europeans living in India. It is worked in gorgeous shades of pink silk onto an ultra pale eau de nil softest cotton ground. This beautiful cover would fit a double bed or sofa but would also make a fabulous
