Why I mention this card is because of its callback to Gilder Bairn, a card that holds a lot of nostalgia for me: many years ago I built a Superfriends deck for my then-boyfriend, and I picked up a foil Gilder Bairn for the deck
I do think things come down on the side of playing it, but it would be nice if we had a few effects like ElectrodominanceElectrodominance or Borne Upon a WindBorne Upon a Wind to see if we can't use some of the Storm of our opponent's turn and how we responded to it to try to Storm out at instant speed

Now, we have to be careful how many creatures like this we do because the board state would get very complex if there were a lot of cards like Cruel Sadist on the battlefield, but having it as a splashy rare is a lot of fun
