Each Collector Booster contains 15 Magic: The Gathering cards and 1 Traditional Foil double-sided token, with a combination of 5 6 cards of rarity Rare or higher and 2 5 Uncommon, 4 7 Common, and 1 Land cards
Unlike mana, which you can't keep for very long if you don't spend it, energy counters stay with you turn after turn until you spend them or an effect causes you to lose them
It's a fresh take on a +1/+1 counter themed deck, with more open-ended designs allowing people to brew with all sorts of counters
Removal like Suplex is especially important against decks that use the graveyard because exiled cards are much more difficult to regain access to (and the opposite blue-black deck as no such capability)
They also won't gain or lose any land types
